Hello,

I’m Ed Hoffman. As an Associate Professor, at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold Maryland, I taught Scuba and have been offering scuba travel through Shark Riders Scuba Tours for over 30 years. As a professor at the community college I taught scuba for the National Association of Underwater Instructors, "NAUI", the Young Men's Christian Association, "YMCA", and the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, "PADI". I currently teach and certify scuba divers through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.
 

Additionally, I am certified to instruct the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) Science Diver course. This distinction is generally reserved for only NOAA employees and presently I am the only non-NOAA employee to be certified to teach this program.

As you can tell from our home page, we travel around the world concentrating primarily in the Caribbean - San Salvador, Bahamas, the Cayman Islands, Bonaire, and other heavenly locations. We travel to Central America, and the Pacific in such places as Honduras, Belize, Australia and Fiji, and always re-visit the Florida Keys.

Our trips offer something for everyone, including family and friends who are non-divers. Camaraderie and a “family” atmosphere add great dimension to our group packages.
