Try a Certification Vacation!

Open Water Scuba certification through PADI®(Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is available for any Shark Rider Scuba Tours vacation. There is an experienced certified PADI® instructor on each trip (many times there are several instructors on each trip). Open Water referral checkouts can be done, even if your initial training was not through PADI®. As long as you have completed all of your training, have a signed referral form from your instructor, and complete a review session you can obtain a PADI® Open Water Diver certification.

You can also continue your diver education. Advanced Open Water courses are available on many trips. Key Largo is an excellent opportunity to take the Advanced Open Water course. Academic work is completed independently and all in-water training takes place during your regular dives while in Key Largo. The training dives are incorporated into the dives that are made during the week, so there is little impact on your schedule.

Is there a particular specialty course that interests you? Chances are you can earn that specialty rating while on a tour with Shark Riders Scuba Tours. Specialty certifications that are available include: Night Diver, Naturalist Diver, Wreck Diver, Deep Diver, Underwater Photographer, Underwater Videographer, Encriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, Medic First Aid, and Oxygen Provider. Whichever specialty interests you, just let us know before the trip and we'll take care of all the logistics.

Prices vary depending on the specialty and the trip location. The Advanced Open Water course can be taken in Key Largo for only $145 and includes all materials, along with the night dive. Nitrox is available on the Key Largo trips for only $150, and again includes all additional materials needed for certification.
